Seeing an unelected South African billionaire in the Oval Office giving a briefing next to the mute and demented US President is jarring to say the least…

They are pulling back the curtain to let us all know who is in charge.

I’ve made a lot of jokes about politics recently but that’s because — if I’m being honest — I thought this Trump admin would be bad, but in the same hilariously inept way it was bad in 2016. Spicer hiding in the bushes, Scaramucci kind of bad.

But idk if there’s anything funny about this now

It's really hard to run for political office
I ran for office three years ago. I don't think I'm going to do it again anytime soon. The challenges I see are contributing to a more polarized political environment.

Facts. Love Adam’s insights
The highest compliment from someone who disagrees with you is not “You were right.” It’s “You made me think.”

Good arguments help us recognize complexity where we once saw simplicity.

The ultimate purpose of debate is not to produce consensus. It’s to promote critical thinking.

And so it has begun, the purge of the bureaucracy…it seems oddly familiar…

History may not repeat itself, but it often rhymes…

The thing to understand about Trump is like in his first term, he doesn’t want to govern. He doesn’t want to learn. He wants to campaign and look good.

Republicans know this. So there are battles going on right now to take control of the actual process of governing.

Silence is compliance, call your Republican Senator and urge them to vote no on the confirmation of Pete Hegseth for Secretary of Defense.

Hawley: 202-224-6154
I called Hawley and Schmitt’s office yesterday to tell them to vote no on Pete Hegseth.

Republicans don’t have a mandate to confirm an alcoholic with credible rape allegations. What if Hawley got 1,000 calls today? What if every Republican Senator got 1,000 calls?
