It's an issue now because this level of net emigration is not sustainable and will lead to a collapse of the economy. Not enough people employed and paying tax means crisis of unfilled vacancies and no tax base. Unless you actually tax the billionaires who are extracting the wealth.

Appalled that DfE has terminated the agreement for a new special school & replaced it with only £3.8m of high needs capital over three years.
Just last month I was promised an update & meeting on SEND provision in Hfds - I hope I can expect both to follow this news urgently.

We now learn that Fifa had a very specific "ask" in exchange for its "Peace Award" to Trump, with loads of gold trinkets, and that was dismissal of a criminal corruption case against senior Fifa officials. And Trump granted it. Another corrupt bargain, barely noticed (and ignored by US media).
