It should be noted that I do what I think needs doing and in that lies the danger that I may again build something useful. I am also a licensed Southern Baptist preacher and evangelistic.
So let’s get ourselves together to design and build autonomous robominitaxis that can operate on trails and bike lanes with air conditioning as well as get the little delivery bots and drones legally operating beyond the campus
If they'd stop building oversized vehicles, that range could be extended and more practical.

Yep we are too serious here and too homogeneous.
There’s probably truth to this, and I’ll do my best to make adjustments accordingly (although it isn’t easy, and sometimes even feels inappropriate given how serious everything that’s happening is).

BUT I also think that part of the solution is to grow Bluesky globally, which I’m also trying to do.
I think people are becoming less active on Bluesky because it’s exhausting, stressful, and unfun to be here—thanks to its justified-but-relentless focus on Resistance.

That doesn’t mean we should go to X, but it does mean we need to bring back some of the fun and joy of pre-2022 Twitter.

Well
This is interesting — a recent study of mode share (the % share of transportation trips by car, transit, walking, biking etc) relative to city size and income levels in almost 800 cities in 61 countries. Interesting results. HT @davidzipper.bsky.social

Houston. #1 seed in the West

I really do not follow any sports any longer and never followed basketball except as it was part of campus life and changed the mood when the team was down.

I am not at Katie's though if I had more energy and money I would be. I have been concerned of late that even though most of the seafood we have bought there likely came from Galveston Bay I have worries that it may get tainted somehow being right by the Gulf of Amerigo 1/2

Lord,

There is so much.

Please cover our children and help us to know how we might help them know you and to know your way for their lives.

Bring us as the church back to your feet that we might serve you.

In Jesus Name,

Amen
