trump supporters have always wanted their bigotry to be socially acceptable. To be able to hang out with and enjoy the creative output of queers, trans folks, punks, furries, minorities etc without having to treat them like human beings.

I hope the social stigma of Trumpism holds out for as long as possible. Once we lose that, and I think we will lose that in so many areas of life, the sadist bullshit becomes much easier for them.
