Last week I tried to save time by getting dressed while I waited for the shower to heat up.
Some of our heads need soaking to start functioning I guess.

I'm having my coffee delivered today.
Who am I kidding? My husband brings me my coffee most days.

Today I made a huge batch of Butter Chicken (low FODMaP) because we invited friends to dinner and bought the ingredients before they got stuck and cancelled. So I made it anyway and now we have had Butter Chicken for dinner and we have more in the freezer.
Winning.

We drove up to the rim of the Black Canyon of the Gunnison River tonight to stargaze. This is only the second time in my life I have seen the Milky Way.

I am in Colorado for the first time (raised & live in Mid-Atlantic). The reality around me has kicked my imagination into high gear. My inner movie is playing scenes from every Western novel I ever read and my inner DJ just switched from John Denver to New Riders of the Purple Sage.

I used to sew; needlepoint, crewel, freehand embroidery, crossstitch, quilting, even made clothes. Then my eyesight got so bad I had to quit. Then I had cataract surgery in both eyes and a couple of years later it occurred to me that I can sew again.
TLDR: I made a thing.

I had my first Pumpkin Spice Latte ever. Today.
My friend went all big eyes and said shame on me.
I own it.

Now that the last of my adult children had moved out people ask me if I have "empty nest syndrome." I don't know what that is. I DO have a guest room, though. And a much cleaner bathroom.

Also forks. I have enough forks. Every time an offspring moves out, a flatware returns from the void.
