“Republicans are in charge of the White House, House, and Senate. This is their shutdown.”
President Trump and Congressional Republicans just shut down the government because they refused to stop your health care costs from rising.

Let me be clear: Republicans are in charge of the White House, House, and Senate. This is their shutdown.

The longest government shutdown was in 2018, under the same administration that’s worked to dismantle our democracy. For 34 days I watched family & friends drain every bit of savings they had to make ends meet.

The American people deserve better.

When my nieces told me that they’d rather play Roblox on their tablets than actually play outside with the same friends on the app - I knew then that kids weren’t going outside like that anymore.
The number of children injured or killed by cars while walking or riding a bike has fallen steadily since the 1970s, but CDC researcher note that this decline is not because streets are safer, but because fewer kids are out and about in the first place.
Kids need freedom. Dangerous roads make it hard to grant it.
Bigger cars, distracted drivers and worried parents mean fewer kids are roaming freely.

Surprised that people aren’t talking about the fact that #Trump’s nominee to head the Bureau of Labor Statistics is an economist from the #HeritageFoundation - the conservative think tank behind #Project2025.

It's not enough to just hold hands, have a candlelight vigil, talk about way the world should be...we have got to meet fire w/fire"

When redistricting is done well, it allows for those elected to better represent the communities they serve, unfortunately that’s not what’s happening here in #Texas due to the partisan power grab of state GOP leaders.

State leaders in both parties say they're ready to redraw political lines ahead of 2026, but state laws and constitutions make mid-decade redistricting virtually impossible in many places.
