“ a majority of people would prefer to live in a world where a child does not have to sell her body to older men in order to save enough money to get braces on her teeth.”

Powerful read.

“It’s an old-fashioned word.”

He’s a buffoon. Which is another old-fashioned word. But a beautiful word.

Government is shut down. Chaos in airports. 42 million going hungry. 24 million face skyrocketing healthcare costs. Economy in turmoil. And the president of the United States is in the Fox broadcast booth calling plays for a football game.

Dems have spent the past two months saying they're fighting to address the crisis of spiking healthcare costs and now they're caving for a deal that does nothing to address healthcare costs ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

This is not a deal — it's an empty promise.

Trump and his Republican Congress are making healthcare more expensive for the middle class and ending it for working families.

Time for Democrats to stand tall for affordable healthcare. www.politico.com/news/2025/11...

This is, unsurprisingly, nonsensical. Is he suggesting eliminating health insurance and giving people a few thousand dollars instead? And then when they get a cancer diagnosis they just go bankrupt?

He is so unserious. That's why we are shut down and Americans know it.

The last month of the anti-Mamdani campaign was an absolutely shameful undertaking, an attempt to rip the city and Democratic coalition apart and I'm very happy to see it failed.

Grijalva: I do think that Speaker Johnson misplayed his hand.

There are people all over this nation who were out there with signs that said, “Swear her in.” They wouldn’t have even known about me otherwise.

Thank you for highlighting how corrupt the system you’re protecting really is.

Johnson defaults to pretending he has no access to the internet, newspapers, or staff who are quite literally paid to keep him informed.

Health should not be a political football. It is a right.

We are using our kids as guinea pigs going back to a time before vaccines.
Madness in the USA. Vaccines are always used as the classic example of positive externalities when teaching market failure. The anti-science brigade want to take us back in time and not for the better. #EconSky
South Carolina schools recently sent home unvaccinated kids to stem a growing measles outbreak. It turned out 5 of them were infected and, if they'd been at school, could've unwittingly spread it to their classmates for days.

That kind of precaution is now illegal in Idaho.
