I think if they really dump AI content onto Disney+ they'll find out real quick that NOBODY wants to see that shit. But it's so symbolic of the state of things that the name that once meant the very peak of hand drawn animation is now in league with the stock market scam anti-human garbage machine.

Hamnet: Who Gets Credit for the Tears?
While Hamnet achieves its goals of emotional devastation, who gets credit for that emotional impact remains unclear: Shakespeare or Zhao?

For editor-in-chief Taze Wilson, Wicked: The Musical is ingrained in his DNA, having grown up in a family of women who belted “Defying Gravity” frequently. It’s unfortunate, then, that “Wicked: For Good” is so bad. Read his full review at the link below 👇

Impossible to believe what is happening to the journalism industry. People like Lex and their team were doing such wonderful and essential work. Breaks my heart.
if you want to know what happened to Teen Vogue yesterday, my work wife @allegrak.bsky.social — who ran our politics section for 6 years until this past June — said it all in this.

can't even pull out a favorite part til I sign my separation letter lol, just read the whole thing.

UNTIL IT’S DONE, Ep. 5: Vito Marcantonio

There are many who dismiss our vision for New York as impossible. To them, I say we need look only to our past for proof of how we can shape the future.

Tomorrow is Election Day. And this is the final Until It's Done of our campaign.

As im launching a patron-supported Film Magazine next month, I would love to know what people think a solution to this might be? What supplemental incomes can make journalism, especially niche journalism, work?
I did not enjoy writing this; it can't even serve as an ad for my newsletter, which I've suspended due to an overbilling situation that has me almost regretting leaving Substack. But, you know, it's evidence for the piece I just didn't get to include.

Kat is being federally charged by the FBI for protesting at Broadview.

This is a flagrant political prosecution by the Trump administration, which is trying to prevent free speech and free association.

I am proud of Kat. Her movement is being targeted by the government. She needs your support.

give it a rest dude. i've had queer friends since i was at least 5. i wrote under a gay black persona in a zine as a teen in the 60s. i've been the only straight dude in a queer performance art space & teased for it by the performer who i was there to support. i REALLY don't have time for yr BS.

As much as I want Graham Platner to stay in, as I think we really need candidates like him, I think that this tattoo is a step over the line. I mean, I don’t know how you square this with the morals of the party at large. I’m still very conflicted.

is designated a National Historic Landmark.

That means:

It’s formally recognized as having exceptional national historical significance.

Any substantial changes, demolitions, or new construction affecting it are tightly restricted.

It’s not his house! WTF.
