The @NDP.ca has been presented to me as a legit alternative voice. But after hearing they refused to discuss the genocide in Palestine (🚩) at a leadership debate, and excluded what appears to be the lone candidate willing to oppose cda’s support for Israel’s genocide (🚩🚩🚩), they’re a big no for me.

Palestine is not the only genocide that Canada is arming.
For two years, a Sudanese paramilitary force has been massacring civilians—with Canadian-made weapons.

As of this morning, Starbucks workers across the country are officially ON STRIKE. And we're prepared for this to become the biggest and longest ULP strike in Starbucks history.

Say #NoContractNoCoffee with us: DON'T BUY STARBUCKS for the duration of our open-ended ULP strike! $SBUX

“But as ICE and other federal agencies storm cities across the country in a sweeping immigration crackdown, one seismic policy change has largely flown under the radar: the assault on DACA and the more than 515,000 recipients currently in the program.”
Then they came for the Dreamers
Immigrants brought here as children were told they wouldn’t be deported. Now, they’re being targeted anyway.

You can be political and not go into politics.

The optics in my community are that only by being a politician can one make positive change happen.

We’re so colonized.

Canada’s government is focused on what matters: making sure an Irish rap group with a history of controversial commentary can’t play their music in Canada.

Meanwhile, our government still refuses to address the actual genocide that band Kneecap has been vocally opposing:

1/ Bill C-2, the so-called “Strong Borders Act,” isn’t about safety.
It’s about normalizing surveillance, criminalizing migration, and attacking Canadians’ privacy and Charter rights.

We cannot allow this government power grab to pass. #cdnpoli

You can oppose political violence without rewriting the legacy of a man who did a lot of harm to vulnerable and marginalized communities.

But Canada’s politicians, some media and many employers don’t seem to entirely understand that:
