The article on dairy does say an exception was made for coconut milk, while the first article notes "oat milk" is sold as "oat drink"

The argument is using terms like "steak" or "burger" or "schnitzel" for non-meat items is misleading.

France previously passed a law to this effect, though it was at the time overruled by the EU

Back in 2017, the EU ruled against allowing dairy terms for vegetable-based items:

EU court bans dairy-style names for soya and tofu

European Court of Justice rules names like milk and butter cannot be used to describe soya and tofu.
