The endgame here is getting the Supreme Court to declare that the entire civil service system is unconstitutional. Which is to say, this administration does not want us to be a modern, efficient, globally competitive nation-state.

The cruel irony of Republicans voting down ACA subsidies is that it will end up hurting Trump voters the most.

57% of ACA Marketplace enrollees live in congressional districts represented by a Republican.

They're selling out their own voters.

I am opposed to the prodemocracy coalition losing any more elections. I think running a female candidate for the third time since 2016 increases the chances of losing.
But thank you for trying to intentionally misunderstand the point.
You are - as a general matter - opposed the idea of a female being nominated for the presidency in 2028?

President Trump accused a group of Democratic lawmakers of sedition when they told members of the military that they must refuse unlawful orders. But Pam Bondi, the attorney general, said the same thing last year.
Must the Military Disobey Unlawful Orders? Pam Bondi Has Said Yes.
As a lawyer for a conservative think tank, Ms. Bondi, now the attorney general, filed a Supreme Court brief last year saying service members who followed such orders were committing crimes.

I guess the Administration is going to try not to release the full video.

Trump: “I didn’t say that. You said that. I didn’t say that. This is ABC fake news.”

Trump on Dec. 3: “Whatever they have, we’d certainly release. No problem.”

Conservatives said something about free speech once, I heard.

When you confront someone on the right with stuff like this, they will respond "well, you weren't complaining when liberals were doing it to us!"

That's untrue. But that argument hurts their brain less than defending this on its merits.
