I don’t feel sadness or fear. Just anger. Feeling betrayed by Democrats and their passiveness and decorum. By my Governor for not maximizing Constitutional authority. For progressives pretending like it’s business as usual. Now they’re seizing documents but they’re just trying to provoke.

Much of the bullshit happening around the world is because Putin paid shills to stir up division & discontent in other countries & make Russians feel democracy & progress were not worth having…

But I take a grim satisfaction that his huge successes on that front aren’t doing him a damn bit of good.

Absolutely. It’s our job to make sure they don’t get a moment’s peace. They want all the power, they take ALL the fucking blame.

And any Democrat who enables them even slightly gets no peace either. No mercy for quislings!
Every single bad and evil thing that happens in the USA is Donald Trump and the GOP’s fault.

Everything can and must be blamed on them.

We are at war with a murderous death cult. Act accordingly.

Just donated to Trans Lifeline to help our friends and family being persecuted by this new regime. IF you have some $ to spare, please consider doing likewise? Even a few bucks helps. But if not, some real LOUD support from the cis community would also be great. ❤️

If you are in a red state, flood your Governor’s offices with phone calls demanding to know what the plan will be if Medicaid and Meals on Wheels and SNAP and Headstart don’t receive funding this week. This is on them for going along with a insane autocrat.

Call them. They knew.

Just got off the phone with a medical provider who accepts Medicaid. Because they are shut out from the Medicaid portal, they might not be able to make payroll. They exclusively serve low-income Floridians.

Flood the zone. Electeds, activists, & leaders, don’t assume people know what’s going on. Tell them everywhere that:

Trump & Republicans stopped Medicaid.

Trump & Republicans stopped housing assistance.

Trump & Republicans stopped schooling for children.

this is an illegal order. the president does not have the legal authority to discriminate against entire categories of americans on the basis of sex. this order is no different than if he had issued one reinstituting segregation.

Criminals will be criminals.

What Donald Trump just did by freezing federal aid across the board is illegal.

The president does not have the power to freeze federal aid. Congress does.

It also hurts his constituency. Even his supporters use federal aid.

Oops.

Hi that was a coup last night in case no one mentioned that to you. The executive branch seized the power of the purse the Constitution gave to Congress, which is a pretty authoritarian / illegal consolidation of powers move. Time to go yell at your reps, the media, etc.

Auschwitz was at the end of a long process. It did not start from gas chambers.

This hatred was gradually developed by humans. From ideas, words, stereotypes & prejudice through legal exclusion, dehumanization & escalating violence... to systematic and industrial murder.

Auschwitz took time.

Americans voted for cheaper groceries. Less than a week on the job and Trump's already managed to get us into a trade war that will drive up the cost of coffee and be a gut-punch to American farmers and manufacturers, all because Colombia hurt his feelings.

The best way to think about Project 2025 was always to see it as the clearest manifestation of the Right’s vision for America. It was itself the distillation of their political project:

A visceral disdain for any kind of pluralism and diversity channeled into a program aiming to extinguish it.

What happens when you try to overthrow the government in a functioning democracy with the rule of law
“South Korea’s impeached and arrested president, Yoon Suk Yeol, was formally indicted on Sunday on charges of leading an insurrection last month when he briefly imposed martial law, prosecutors said.
Mr. Yoon’s indictment means that his trial is likely to start soon.”

Trump has deployed active military to help round up migrants and put them into detention camps.

The military forced us out of our homes at gunpoint in 1942 because we were considered possibly disloyal Americans. They sent us to internment camps for four years.

History is repeating. Pay attention.
