Autism is genetic. It's a spectrum and doesn't present the same in every person. It is not a deficiency in intelligence. It is not an epidemic. It is not only in kids, but is finally being diagnosed more in girls, and in adults who were not diagnosed as kids. This is infuriating misinformation.

The RFK Jr. version of health, where health creates health and healthy people don't get sick and the thing that keeps you healthy is /living the right way/ is very seductive to a lot of people. It also places the burden of illness back on the ill, which decreases the value of human life.

It was never just about schools, it was never just about libraries, and it isn't actually about the books.

It's about finding a way to banish entire people, entire ideas, out of society, back into the closet or worse.

Yikes.

GOP Sen. Roger Marshall held a town hall in Kansas, abruptly ended it 20 minutes early, and basically ran out of the room.

This was right after a man voiced his concerns about how veterans were being harmed by Elon Musk and Donald Trump.

Let’s just say the crowd was NOT pleased.

Trump’s first 3 weeks have been a relentless flood of actions. It's incredibly hard to keep up.

President Trump's DOE has made themselves clear: they will support book banners in their efforts to strip our institutions of learning of the books that define them.

So let us be perfectly clear: we're going to do whatever we can to try and stop them.
