This is legitimately an amazing first step, and goes a long way toward restoring trust. My only real concern now are the people on the mod team that went to bat REAL hard for Clover making me nervous. I realize I don't have the full story with them, it's just something to consider I guess.

I am one of those. I have a whole playlist of stuff like that and your videos are so relaxing. Though when it's on if I wake up in the middle of the night, it's hard to get back asleep because I get so invested in the video again. (This is not a bad thing!)

While the percentage is really stark, for me it's the "only 43" that really drives home how utterly astroturfed the outrage was. Like, without really knowing how many people are in Maryland and all, I expected 0.03% to at least hit triple digits but they couldn't even do that...

I think it's actually a good move to see that they're reacting out to critics of the original game, full knowing the history there, rather than just focusing on people with unrelenting praise. Kind of makes me think they took specific criticisms to heart and are trying to fix 'em.

I'm not a particular fan of blocklists given all the prior and current abuse inherent in them, but Bsky can not say they are an option for composable moderation, and then block them when their favorite transphobes get angy about it.
