There used to be assumptions you could make. Shared shorthand that could at least get you to the destination a little easier. But you only have to look at the discourse about the term 'JRPG' to see that even that shorthand is a confused mess nobody can agree on.

Really enjoyed the new Indiana Jones game, though even on the hardest difficulty it was a bit too easy? Then again i've been playing a ton of Hitman, MGS3 and V, and Yotei, so maybe i'm just locked in on tactical espionage action
Also I'll take like 10 more games in this engine please
