I’m about to board my flight to El Salvador, where I hope to meet with senior government officials to discuss the return of Kilmar Abrego Garcia.

The U.S. is no longer an electoral democracy. This will be reflected in the non-partisan indices. “Partly free” from Freedom House would strike me as generous. This kind of shit cannot happen in a democracy. Even if they bring this person back under pressure the damage is done. We cannot depend….
