Good idea, but full body costumes have a non-threatening feel. IMO one goal is to make ICE look and feel silly. A crowd of cartoon characters does the trick.

We told anyone who would listen that boiling learning down to a multiple-choice question assessment at the end of each year would lead to teaching to the test. That teachers would feel forced to teach test-taking strategies rather than teaching life strategies

Yes I can be friends with people who I disagree with politically. But that means disagreements like “should more or less tax money go to this department or that one?”

It doesn’t mean “are these people human, or not?”
