Hello, I'm Mech (they/them) and the_mechanica on Ao3. I primarily write fanfic for Apex Legends.

This is mostly a fandom blog dedicated to Loba Andrade’s perspective of her dynamic with Revenant, which I have shorthanded to ‘shipping’.
Please note, I am a trauma survivor whose first boyfriend stalked them for several years. I am also a trained intimacy coordinator, feminist horror filmmaker, and former sex and kink educator, and former swer. Although I ship LobaLore, LobaCat, CatRev and Revhound, I also ship LobaRev/RevLoba for catharsis reasons. I beg you to leave me be about it.

It upsets me that to get anything heard you gotta be SEETHING about it because over the last few decades everything has devolved to "if theyre not FURIOUS they must love it" because bad actors have been using rage for manipulation

One of the problem with the sentiments of going underground is like, yeah some people might but most people wont. Most of the people you follow online who create the NSFW content you enjoy, be it drawing or writing or photography, are barely getting by as it is if they do it full time.

You know what I like? Artists who post WIPs, rough sketches, REAL timelapses... I think that's what sets us apart from AI lately, which only knows how to post finished drawings, several a month
