I'm glad this little tip resonated with lots of people.
I do want to clarify a couple of things.
1) I meant this tip for people who actually have ADHD. Not in that way that people sometimes use it informally to just talk about forgetting or being a little scatterbrained.

ADHD protip. You know how you get a notification 10 minutes before your meeting? You should probably add another one for 1 minute before the meeting. Some of us know it takes way less than 10 minutes to get distracted and end up being late. The second 1 minute notif means "no for real, right now" 😅

I think “twice exceptional” created because too many people thought someone who was a strong reader or good student couldn’t have ADHD or some other learning issue. So many people denied ADHD diagnosis because they were in college! But, yes, people have made it very weird.

@readywriting.bsky.social (go check out this podcast). @stimpunks.org is a good organization (broader than ADHD but definitely includes it). @chton.bsky.social built and maintains goblin tools and is worth following for that reason alone.

Yes, it's a little difficult. Plus some folks made accounts but don't seem to currently use them.
