Miss this guy but we have to stay engaged and some person like him will rebound the country. Keep the faith but also take action.
We have people in power making broad claims around certain drugs and autism that have been continuously disproven.

The States have broad authority to enact legislation for the public good—what we have often called a 'police power.' The Fed. Gov., by contrast, has no such authority."-SCOTUS '14

Andry José Hernández Romero, I remember you, even if I do not know how to articulate my horror, rage, & sorrow at your treatment by my government.

No one has heard from you in 43 days.

As vigil, I’m posting a photo of you every day until you are returned from El Salvador.

Last night was the 250th anniversary of Paul Revere's midnight ride to warn the Minutemen of approaching British troops.

I want to take a moment to share an excerpt from the Declaration of Independence's grievances against King George III.

Remind you of anyone?

"On Tyranny" is a #1 NYT bestseller again. I wish the moment were different. But I’m glad the book is useful. And grateful for all the kind words about putting the 20 lessons to work.

Lisa Murkowski said she is afraid of retribution when she speaks up. She didn't say what kind of retribution. She must know, she, and her party, brought this to themselves. Now she says she will speak up. FFS. Disgusting. How about impeaching and throwing the criminal out? What about that?

As Passover begins, I am reposting my open letter to Elon Musk. I wrote it in response to his attacks on me and his suggestion that I suffer from “generational trauma.” It has been the most viral piece I have ever written and I continue to be moved by the positive feedback.

Thanks and Happy Pesach!
My Open Letter to Elon Musk
From Marc | Elon Musk recently posted on his site that another lawyer and I are “undermining civilization.” This is my response.

Hey, Politico --

I consider myself to have "long-term standing in the private legal community" and I have been willing to speak out almost every single day. And, I'm not alone.

Yes, there is widespread cowardice among law firms, but don't ignore those refusing to bow down.

Defiantly,

This former US Atty supports the courage of Danielle Sassoon, the acting US Atty in SDNY, who put service ahead of self & refused to let politics interfere with prosecutions. True American hero. Thank you for your service, Danielle. You are the best of us. Who's with me?
Incredibly proud of her and my old office. Integrity and decency still exist in incredibly hard circumstances. I hope every former US Attorney and DOJ official from both parties support her publicly.
Danielle R. Sassoon, Manhattan’s acting U.S. attorney, resigned on Thursday rather than obey a Justice Department order that she drop a corruption case against New York City’s mayor, Eric Adams, that she had championed, according to three people with knowledge of the matter.
