Today, I found out that the Department of Defense banned the Well-Read Black Girl anthology by Glory Edim. I was one of its contributors.
I'm really hurt right now. So if you have it in you, please buy books by Black women from independent bookstores.

Today - wake up and put cat food in my coffee mug. Then, get my car blocked in at work. Then fall over at lunchtime walking back into the car park (comedy style tripping on my trousers and shoe broke - splat!). Then the very kind chap trying to help pick me up struggles.. (I enjoy wine and cheese)
