Now that Eberron: Forge of the Artificer is out, we have the final full release of the new 2024 Artificer. I've covered the two UA versions before, so I'm going to go through and give my final thoughts on the core features and subclasses The Core Class When I first covered it, I think might have undersold the value of Tinker's Magic and its ability to quickly replicate mundane items.

It's part 2 of this series and we're heading off to the Seekers table! I've learned since starting this series that Brennan's style for placing people was to ask them about their character's goals and place them based on that, so I apparently approached this entirely from the wrong perspective, but ah well. This is my thought exercise, so I'm doing it my way.

We set up all the rules a couple of weeks ago, now it's time to do our first set of potential characters for Campaign 4. We're going to start off with the Soldiers table. While I do greatly enjoy combats in D&D, I don't necessarily believe this is the table I would most likely find myself at. For one thing, it has 5 players and the other tables only have 4 each, but mostly, I just think the Seekers table aligns best with the things I personally find the most interesting in D&D.

It's part 2 of the series looking at my Legion Remix characters, and today we're gonna be looking at my group of Horde alts that are all in melee classes. I feel it's important for you to know that I instinctively typed "melee jobs" in the above sentence before realizing what I'd done and correcting it. Anyway, let's check out this group.

Hey, remember this post from over a year ago when I talked about what I would have played if I were on Critical Role, and then these three posts where I discussed alternate options? I had a lot of fun doing that, and I always planned on doing it for the next major campaign, once I felt like I knew enough about the player characters to do so.
