Experimentation I did years ago, copying a Maxfield Parrish palette across an entire issue of Hawkeye. Not something I'd use as I wouldn't rip off a palette like that, but it was fun to play with. Hidden lineart by @davaja.bsky.social

Made a small test page with ideas for my next comic. (Mind you these panels are not in any correct order, just samples to test the use of watercolor, ink and digital.) In the future I want to make a paranormal horror story when my first comic is finished. 🖤👻

Another OC introduction from my webcomic Era of Iridore: Hauk! He often lacks a "indoor voice", never afraid to speak his mind and joke around, taking pleasure in getting people out of their shell and serve a good laugh. Addicted to smoking and recovered alcoholic, bisexual and sometimes obnoxious.
Cut from my comic of Hauk sitting by a table smoking and drinking reclined back relaxed with a big grin on his face as he says: "Sure I can join ya! If they have lifted the warrant for me! Turns out it's against their law to win underground betting fights every night! Hey, did you know having drunk sex in their library get's you banned for life?" Kaisa the human is sitting to the right rolling her eyes in a "good grief" expression. Hauk is a common dragon nymph with smooth, light grey skin, concave shaped snoute, horse ears and tail. Built rather stocky with broad torso and a slight belly, his Iridore gem that gives him the magic of being incredible strong and makes his skin unbreakable is in a deep, rich purple color between his chest muscles. His hair is shoulder long and rusty brown, always tied in a messy pony tail and with long, thick bangs. His right eye is blind, scarred and pale from a accident as a kid, and he normally hides it behind a eye path, his other eye is hazel brown. Always wearing earth colored clothes with hints of purple, and almost always seen smoking his cigarettes. Hauk can look intimidating and rugged with his looks and sometimes big temper, but once you get to know him he is incredible charming, funny and got a infectious laugh.
