Bombshell allegations by a DOJ whistleblower: Emil Bove—whom Trump has nominated to a federal appeals court—lied to courts and willfully defied their orders, then illegally fired the lawyers who tried to tell the truth in court.

A massively damning document. static01.nyt.com/newsgraphics...

@schumer.senate.gov what are you doing about this?
Just some creepy armed Mad Max guys trying to gain entry to Dodgers Stadium.

ICE says it wasn’t them. DHS says they were Border Patrol. But honestly who the hell knows? They’ve given permission for any psycho to put on a ski mask, point a gun, grab people & throw them into an unmarked vehicle.

Please can another country come intervene? We are under attack by our own government.
Adrian Andrew Martinez, a U.S. citizen, tried to intervene as federal immigration agents questioned another man in a Walmart parking lot. ICE agents violently swarm him. Now missing.

By law, he has a right to an attorney.

This is how police states operate.

If you live in the United States, you are in greater jeopardy today than you were 6 months ago. So is your family. So are your friends & neighbors.

Virtually all the important parts of the U.S. government created to protect us are being shut down, gutted, or marginalized.

Abort SCOTUS
In a way the tone is almost as frightening as the substance. The dissent writes like it understands the stakes, and what kind of regime we're on the precipice of becoming. The majority writes like it's hearing a case about whether rollerblades can be taxed as vehicles.
#BREAKING: 5-4 Court, with Barrett joining the three Dem. appointees in dissent *vacates* Chief Judge Boasberg’s temporary restraining orders in the Alien Enemy Act cases. Judicial review must be available, Court holds, but has to come through habeas petitions:

In case you missed it, White Americans voted against:
Taco trucks on every corner
$25k for first time homebuyers
$50K tax break for small businesses
Medicare paying for home health care
Lower taxes for people earning < $400K
It was never about the price of eggs, inflation, or the economy.

The purpose of the pardon is to claim the violence of January 6 as sacred. That's not hyperbole--the movement frames it in explicitly religio-nationalist terms. It's--as absurd as this sounds--to add 2021 to the mythic chronology of 1776 and D-Day.

Generously, at maximum, I think maybe 3% of Americans are aware of that conviction.

When a sitting President wants to jail reporters and government officials who challenge him, the media sycophants who bend to his will are NOT, in fact, interested in reducing censorship. They are interested in avoiding jail and continuing to monetize rage, chaos, & mistrust. See Burma 2017, et al.

As @jackjenkins.me and others have pointed out, Jefferson never said any of this: www.monticello.org/research-edu...
