The only two social medias (as in, microblogs) that I have used with any frequency before are #Tumblr and #Bluesky, and all of the bullshit that I hear about on other platforms like #Twitter (or, ahem, "X") and Facebook, I'm glad of it.

I strongly advise that you switch to another, preferably private email service. Not only because of the recent situation, but because #Google has a track record for privacy violations and is all around a pretty unethical company.
I use Proton, but more examples include Tuta and Criptext.
