Milton Berle, however, would answer the hotel door naked with a cigar in his mouth and that got old real fast. Never saw it but the housekeeping staff would poke their heads into switchboard to complain about it.

approximately a million and a half years ago I worked a hotel switchboard and when Red Buttons was in town for a shoot I got to make up messages for him because he'd check messages and when there were none he'd demand imaginary ones. Very funny and sweet.

Hen and Frog.

A textbook image I did a few years ago showing a trap-jaw ant (Odontomachus rixosus) with her mandibles held open and trigger hairs forward, and then in the closed position.

The snapping shut of the trap is one of the fastest measured animal movements.
