Yesterday, I saw a post mocking Bruno Fernandes for missing his pen.

I commented that I wondered how much the loss of Diogo is impacting him since they were teammates.

The amount of vitriol and hate I’ve received because of that comment has been ridiculous.

i often think about Lauré, the black woman who often modeled for Manet & other artists - she appears in 2 poems in The Second Stop Is Jupiter, once as an accomplice in the murder of Olympia then again in the media trial for the murder.

Architect Alfred Waterhouse, Liverpool-born Quaker, died #OTD 1905. Buildings include Manchester Town Hall, London’s Natural History Museum, Liverpool University's Victoria building. His love of red brick and terracotta led to him being nicknamed 'Slaughterhouse Waterhouse'.
