It’s December 28th and 60 degrees with a thunderstorm in Chicago area. The president of the United States declared climate change to be a hoax to global leaders.

Why did we put ourselves in this situation?

"It's A Wonderful Life" isn't just a feel-good holiday classic (and my favorite movie of all time).

It's also a warning about what happens when greed runs the economy.

“First of all, it’s not accurate to describe a feature that pulls you away from reading as something that helps you ‘stay immersed.’”
Amazon put an AI book explainer into Kindle so you can be even more easily distracted from your book.
Amazon announced a few new Kindle features last week, including “recaps” to help you catch up on what happened previously in a book series and something called “Ask this Book,” which supposedly all…

This is a small note to the women in the workplace:

Hello, I know hybrid schedules are a thing but while you are in a communal space, please be self-aware.

Example: when using the multi-stall ladies room, please do not have phone conversations and remember to properly wash your hands.

Thank you

A trope of Christmas movies that needs to go away is the single woman who either hits her head or just goes to sleep and wakes up in the future with a husband and 2 or 3 kids then at the end, decides to stay there.

She missed out on years of her life, her children’s lives and memories

Disgusted to hear of the targeted shooting of National Guard members in DC today. All Americans should unite in condemning and rejecting this violence. Sending prayers to these victims and their families, and thankful to the responders who acted so quickly.

I really hate it when scientists keep saying that “we need to rebuild trust in science,” because it implies that scientists are to blame for the mistrust rather than the millions of dollars of dark money that have funded political attacks on science in order to advance a far right agenda.

This very much is like America’s Eugenics and Sterilization program in the 1930s.

A great historical fiction read is “The Lies They Told” by Mary Ellen Wiseman. Go have a read, or a listen.

The Sociopath-In-Chief couldn't be bothered to even turn his head in the direction of a man in the midst of a medical emergency who collapsed in his office. Completely incapable of empathy, the EPSTEIN Files can't be released soon enough.
