Looks like I can opt-out. Whew! Though it becoming the default means anyone who didn't explicitly opt-in, and doesn't look too closely at this stuff, will get auto-opted-in (including creators who are taking a break or no longer upload).

Discord has apparently added generative AI "apps" users can use to modify any image posted in any discord server.
On by default, no way to disable them, no moderation tools.
Fuck discord, support artists (discord sure doesn't).

The reason A.I. is being shoved down our throats is shareholders want a return on their investment. Every company that integrates this crappy tech into their products knows you don't want it, but they've sunk too much money into it and don't care. Turn it off, don't use it, don't look back.

i just noticed that theres a redundancy on likes and reposts+quotes on the stats bar to the actions bar
the other site doesnt have the stats bar, but on mobile has the stats bar but without the numbers beside the actions
interesting ui/ux choices... (not saying bsky is bad, just... huh)
