I say this without a hint of hyperbole, but I don't see myself flying anytime soon. The JetBlue pilot was right to be outraged. This could have been a disaster.

I love Jasmine Crockett. I really think we need her representation in DC. However, she's apparently fallen in with the same tired consultants who advise spamming people about arbitrary fundraising deadlines. Apparently, if she doesn't meet a “week one” fundraising goal, she'll be seen as weak.

This takes me back to first semester of my freshman year at Rutgers, 1993. My roommate picked this up in some campus music store, unsure of what to expect. We laughed our asses off at the absurdity of it, and used one of the songs as our answering machine greeting.

It seems that Uber is giving our info to ICE, and is fine with ICE using Uber stickers on their cars to trick is.

I sure ain't using Uber again.
There were reports over the summer of people being kidnapped when they answered the door for their Uber eats order. Logically, ice had to know the customer and their delivery time to make that effective. I cancelled my account when it was shared then.

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

In this time of growing Christian Nationalism, it is important to remember the *real* history of Thanksgiving. The Puritans didn't just come to the New World to flee persecution, they came here so they could be the ones doing the persecution.

Trump never had a fan base.

He had an army of bots who sold his racism and misogyny and xenophobia to uneducated Americans who took voting advice from bald eagle profiles posting Tweets from Eastern Europe.

It’s as stupid as it sounds.

Another day, another rage bait email from a Democratic fundraising outlet. Do these people just not grasp how off-putting their, “We can't believe you haven't donated after Lauren Boebert did a racism” emails are. Yes, I'm mad. No, I can't give money every time a Republican does something shitty.

MTG either has a strategy here, or she's lost her ever-loving mind. I'm going with the former, though I'm not sure if she's bright enough to have a *good* strategy.
BASH: We have seen these attacks from the president at other people. It's not new. And I haven't heard you speak out about it until it was directed at you.

MARJORIE TAYLOR GREENE: I think that's fair criticism. And I would like to say, humbly, I'm sorry for taking part in the toxic politics.

Of course I'm worried about socialism. I mean, just imagine if Mamdani one day becomes President and nationalizes industry, imposes historic tax hikes, goes after the media, builds a secret national police force, militarizes the country, and sends people to camps.

Merrick Garland continues to get a pass, but with each passing day, I realize more and more how badly he failed us. He was also not the hero people have made him out to be. He's been touted as the lead on the OKC bombing investigation that bravely brought the perpetrators to justice.

After being employed since January 15th of this year, I start a new job next Monday. It took me nine months and 15 days of job hunting to finally land an offer. After all that time, much of it still feels surreal.

I wish I could show you all the joyous photos and videos being shared on Muslim and South Asian WhatsApp right now with people reacting to Mamdani's victory.

It's really beautiful and cathartic.

So many years of anti-Muslim bigotry, racism & hate.

And all those tears are now sugar for our chai.

Texas conservatives who've championed book bans & anti-LGBT policies suffered big losses tonight in school board races.

And They seem to have lost their working majorities to pass their policies in big school boards.

I tracked these results in FOUR boards tonight. So a 🧵 on each ICYMI.
