Conventions, if you use AI do not be surprised if creators turn down your invitations to be guests or even to be on panels.

Do not use tools trained on stolen work from creators and then tell them you want to honor or uplift them - that’s not what you’re doing. You’re stealing and being lazy.

They discontinued this...WHY???
Find the ingredients, fire up the grill and give me one!
Dunkin Donuts Tailgater Sandwich (2015-2015): Released for the Fall menu and marketed towards football fans to "evoke the flavors of tailgating," this breakfast sandwich featured an egg, a split smoked sausage, American cheese, peppers and onions, and ancho chipotle sauce on a French bread roll

A reminder:

This is the future we could have had.

But nooooooo.

Industries had to latch on to the "everyone wants to live in a minimalist iStore" aesthetic...

Still stewing over a bad social interaction.
Something I said was misunderstood and seen as inappropriate when I don't see how it could possibly be misunderstood. But it was, and it had to be my fault, not theirs, and yadda yadda yadda...
I am beyond tired of this happening all throughout my life.

We're living in an age where if someone fucks up, and people let them know, their default response is to double, triple, and quadruple down. Learning and correcting is out of the question.
It's happened so often for so long I feel like there needs to be a well-funded global investigation.

The relatively good news is, the gaming industry is losing money like crazy. So maybe they'll learn from the below and go back to what worked.
Or, they won't, and they'll be replaced by newcomers that do.
And now I miss my DS that was small to carry, clever, fun, didn’t need to connect to any service to turn on, and had no micro transactions.

More 2D hand-drawn movies
Less 3D CGI movies
More 100% animated movies!

Fewer “live action yet 90% animated” movies!

Ah, found the quote:

Paris: Hey, every one of these knobs and levers is fully functional.

Tuvok: And completely superfluous.

Paris: Maybe to you. I am tired of tapping panels. For once, I want controls that let me actually feel the ship I'm piloting.

Omg like a touchscreen for basic car controls: WHY
Amazingly, reaction times using screens while driving are worse than being drunk or high—no wonder 90 percent of drivers hate using touchscreens in cars. Finally the auto industry is coming to its senses.

I'll see your 2009 and raise you 1999.
Buttons are back. Knobs are back. Dumb devices are back. Own-it-forever software is back. Print is back. Personal websites and chronological feeds are back. Touching grass is back. People keep saying 2015, but it’s not far enough. The entire 2010s were a mistake. We must retvrn to… 2009.

"AI is the future!" is becoming one of those weird self-destructive cults. And like those weird self-destructive cults, it should have culled itself long ago, but somehow it just keeps going and getting ever weirder.

That will be an odd tale for my niece and nephew, how Redbox took off and killed video stores, and then streaming took off and killed Redbox.
It wasn't that long ago that you could head to McDonald's for dinner and rent a DVD to watch at home.
