Sadly, this is indeed the case. Fear and ambition have replaced conscience, and as a result, this party is characterized by subservience rather than leadership. Removing them from power through the vote is the only way out.

I keep seeing posts stating that ICE cannot enter your home or a private business without a judicial warrant. While that is legally correct, in reality ICE routinely violates the law by forcing their way in, often by smashing down doors, before violently assaulting people.
