1) I subscribe to Defector and am a big fan, so earning the label "book excerpts that don't suck" really means a lot
2) I suspect a lot of sports media will ignore my book because they're beholden to sportsbook advertisers. So it's nice that a journalist-owned blog exists to help to spread the word

Bill being radio silent on what’s happening to this country has been incredibly disheartening. I don’t expect him to dedicate real time to current affairs, but ignoring the heavy, dark cloud settling in over America entirely has really impacted my opinion of him. Thanks Joanna!
