it should have been enough. maybe it's because i am black and my family has endured centuries of bullshit here, i just cannot fathom the kind of people who just couldn't decide between the two. i'm not buying that she could have done anything short of morphed into a white man.
Harris ran a good campaign, but Democrats didn't have much of a message on immigration beyond "we wanted to pass Sen. Lankford's bill." Most Americans don't know who Lankford is, let alone the bill's content.
I sat in on a focus group with Latinos last year, where several people expressed that belief. I wonder what those people think now.
