The thing that’s fucking wild about Baby Steps is that it includes stuff like this, some of the funniest shit I have ever seen in a game, and also has scenes that will gut you in ways you just won’t see coming.

I’m taking this from Zoe (who always has correct opinions) but it’s weird to play baby steps and sort of be all “I never want to finish, I could walk forever in this world” when you REALLY should want to let Nate finally be done with this hellish ordeal. Empathize with the man in his hour of need

You gain nothing by forcing yourself as the player to suffer through the manbreaker. This is a game about getting to the end. Nate really needs to pee! Why are you choosing to prolong that as a player just so you don’t have to call a guy lord. Just let Nate pee. Throw away the pride in yourself!

This 100%. I’ll take it even further that this moment is about the player because it’s the first time the game actually gives you the chance to choose to take help, to take the easy way. Even though we’ve learned at this point to empathize with Nate we don’t need to fall victim to the same failings.

I'd actually argue that the taking the stairs is a very meaningful choice for Nate if you do it. You're kind of conditioned to be suspicious of everything the game throws at you by then. To turn away help. But the stairs aren't a trick! You don't slide down them if you fall. They're just stairs!

I feel like I’m the spokesperson for FemC at this point and I hate that Altus refused to add her to Reload BUT ALSO you can and should just play P3P still. Available on all modern platforms for cheap and it still is the best version of the game even if it isn’t the newest and shiniest version
