I’m Associate Principal for a school in Barnsley. The school is part of Astrea Academy Trust, which has 4 secondaries in South Yorkshire and 4 in Cambridgeshire. Our South Yorkshire schools serve social-economically challenged contexts.

Spent the day at Boulby Underground Lab near Whitby - 1.1km underground. Dark matter searches, neutrino physics, very low cosmic ray and background radiation suitable for (amongst many other things) quantum computing. It’s a pretty unique facility and the mine is remarkable - over 100km of tunnels!

I want a similar AI model to set out what would have happened if neoliberalism had not forced Bristol City into selling Andy Cole to Newcastle Utd in 1993.

Emotional this morning about the loss of Prescott. He hugely inspired my dad, who became a Labour councillor at the age of 50, after years as a bus driver. He gave permission to be in politics, while being your imperfect self, whatever your accent or background.
