DHS policy is to lie pathologically and very loudly in order to attack critics. The problem is that their lies are so crude, they keep getting exposed.
Writing up arrest report for SEIU CA President David Huerta, whom DOJ charged w/conspiracy to impede an officer after they assaulted him (they subsequently instead charged him w/a misdemeanor).

The tl;dr of this report is not that these administration officials are upset about ICE having murdered Renee Good; it's that even these goons realize Noem's lies about the murder were so poorly crafted that people aren't going to believe all the other lies the administration tells the public.
