A very long and important THREAD -

The real reason the US is invading Venezuela goes back to a deal Henry Kissinger made with Saudi Arabia in 1974.

And I'm going to explain why this is actually about the SURVIVAL of the US dollar itself.

Not drugs. Not terrorism. Not "democracy." 1/

1. I hate to see good people wasting their time and energy. And there’s perhaps no greater waste of time and energy than seeking to change the trajectory of the human population. It’s not just futile, but also a massive distraction from things we CAN change. This thread seeks to explain why. 🧵1/12

Games are constantly under attack for doing things other mediums have tackled for decades as if it's some new taboo.

Just watched @charalanahzard.bsky.social video that sums things up more eloquently youtu.be/G-7r9pL0Hqo?...

#Indiedev should be talking more about the freedom of the artform.
why is anyone ok with this

CEO-to-worker pay ratio today: 280-to-1

Trickle-down economics was always a sham.

Nothing has ever trickled down.

This thread, damn.

“this is not dunking on kids. We are seeing this at all levels--even grad students. AI + social media has had a profound impact on how we think and process our world, and we can't stop to reflect on it, because billionaires keep hurling addictive tech at us.”
An issue we're seeing at all levels of university is that many students are simply refusing to do *anything*. They aren't reading the syllabus, aren't following assignment guidelines, aren't engaging with material, ignoring deadlines. And this might seem like old news, but it truly has ramped up.

Wow - this guy must be really, REALLY bad with money if an extra £208 per month will “ruin” his retirement.

Let’s take a look at his situation based on what he told the @Telegraph

Because this does NOT add up!

No, this is not a “poor pensioner” scrabbling around for pennies…

Ever since I finished Question Time, Reform have massively been on the attack.

Including a rant from Richard Tice entirely designed to distract from Reform and Russia.

Everyone should know about Nathan Gill, the bribes from Russia and the link to Reform.

Literally just saw someone respond to an "AI" image being called out as "AI" with "ok yes the image is probably A.I. generated it doesn't mean the story isn't real," and I just… Y'all.

We are in a bad bad place. A bunch of us warned you we were gonna get here, & y'know what? Here the fuck we are.…

This is why we need independent media outlets funded by the public.

Our Byline Times story is still available to read despite attempts to suppress it.

Still internalising the Vance Munich speech. A sitting Vice President goes to Europe, barely says a word about the despotic murderous regime which has invaded its neighbour, and instead lectures his allies about freedom of speech. It’d be funny if it weren’t so serious.
