Basically, the effects are hard to do using the color palette I picked. But when used in black/white setup (like the latter half of this), the Deep Glow plugin seems to really do the trick.

Have been testing some techniques to try and get some vintage look on the graphics and it doesn't really seem to be working due to my choice of colors.
