More than 500 law firms on Friday threw their support behind some of their embattled peers, declaring that President Trump’s recent crackdown on the law firm industry poses “a grave threat to our system of constitutional governance and to the rule of law itself.”

One of the very first things did at Columbia (literally in my first few weeks there) was to organize a protest against a discriminatory (anti-LGBTQ) policy. It was a resounding success.

I live in a town of 17,000 people I just came upon about hundred people standing on the corner at the local grocery store for the HANDS OFF protest - anti Trump & doge signs & tax the rich I’ve never seen anything like that, people are pissed & being public about it & that gives me hope! #protest
