This new look would be a lot easier to stomach if I felt like there was a coherent plan behind it. Right now it's a lot of talk about emphasizing run prevention backed up by trading for an aging 2B and a closer coming off his worst season while quality players leave or sign elsewhere.
I didn't expect Diaz and Alonso to leave in back to back days. I think at this point #Mets fans need to embrace the fact that change isn't just coming, it's here. The core is blown up and things are going to look very, very different for the foreseeable future.

there is zero chance the Yankees failed to turn a profit in any year, but especially in 2025 when they were coming off a World Series appearance. If an MLB owner says he lost money, that's like me saying I can fly. You should insist on proof.

I rarely encourage flags for unsportsmanlike conduct, but that Giants lineman kicking Goff in the head mid-celly seemed like a pretty obvious case for one.

A Philadelphia legend left us today. 40 years on the premier rock station in the city, an absolutely wonderful person. Have the opportunity to be in multiple times during my internship, and he was a truly great soul.
