This is the most astonishing graph of what the Trump regime has done to US science. They have destroyed the federal science workforce across the board. The negative impacts on Americans will be felt for generations, and the US might never be the same again.

The President of the United States today called an entire ethnic group “very low IQ people.”

This occurred as ICE in Minneapolis continues to arrest lawfully present Somalis and other refugees and fly them to Texas detention centers to be interrogated by government officials.

This is the definition of what Kavanaugh thinks a good stop is. He was detained, based on his accent, and then released after they checked his papers (which presumably Kavanaugh does not carry with him).
He was detained in front of his five year old child, who told him "I don't want to lose you."
This ICE agent and the man he’s accusing of not being a US citizen have the same damn accent. If this were a movie, this scene would be on the cutting room floor.

This is 10th-grader Arnoldo Bazan.

A citizen.

Immigration agents grabbed him and put him in a chokehold.

"We're from the United States bro!' he screamed.

Agents took and sold his phone

And when he finally got home hours later, his shirt was ripped, he neck had angry, red welts, and he sobbed.

Weird to be commemorating the 250th anniversary of the Am Rev while living under a government that has a) sent armed troops to occupy cities perceived to be too rebellious, b) rendered largely irrelevant the representative branch of government, and c) claimed imperial right to rule other countries.

Here’s some things that can be done by a party out of power

- file impeachment articles every day in the House

- withhold unanimous consent in the senate and filibuster every nominee

- be everywhere with comms saying this is lawless and impeachable

Demanding immediate impeachment (and, in the case of House members, introducing articles of impeachment) is not just the only morally and legally defensible course of action for Dems in Congress, it is also the politically correct one. The American people do not want a war of imperial aggression.
Trump has deserved impeachment many times over, but if starting an illegal war doesn’t necessitate immediate impeachment then nothing does. Dems cannot hide from this, even though it won’t result in his removal from office. This is not a fight they can sit out.
It feels like Democrats have three options: impeachment, shutting down the government on Jan. 30 to extract concessions, or strongly worded letters and long speeches. Am I missing any?
