Again, if you want to get a COVID19 vaccine this year, please consider getting it before RFK Jr’s fraudulent Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) meets on September 18-19.

There is every reason to believe they will further restrict access. Absolutely shameful.
RFK Jr.’s CDC may limit COVID shots to 75 and up, claim they killed kids
A battle is brewing over mRNA vaccines, which could intensify backlash against Kennedy.

Fact check:

mRNA vaccines for respiratory viruses are meant to prevent severe illness (bad Pneumonia).

This means beefing up our immunity in the *lower* respiratory tract, eg the lungs.

Kennedy talks about the *upper* respiratory tract and vaccine efficacy in nonsensical gibberish.

RFK wants to lean into “whole cell” vaccine technology, which has existed for decades, comes with increased risk of side effects and can take years to develop.

mRNA vaccine technology comes with far decreased risk of side effects and can take mere months to develop.

Make it make sense!

The NIH’s 2024 budget of just under $37B generated $95B in economic activity in 2024 alone. 99.4% of new pharmaceuticals approved from 2010-2019 came from NIH-funded research. I’m hard pressed to think of anything that generates as much direct economic benefit as our NIH did before they destroyed it
TAPPER: 14 Republicans say you're risking undermining critical research by holding up NIH funding

VOUGHT: If they were a company, their stock price would in shambles. They in some respects caused the pandemic. You have an entire institute that does nothing more than DEI research at the NIH.

Pseudoscience is deadly.

And it's running our health agencies, gutting scientific research programs, defunding healthcare and social programs, and making all of us LESS healthy.

Things that ARE linked to cancer that influencers ignore or even deny:

Alcohol
Tobacco use
UV radiation
Smoking (of all types)
Low fiber intake
Certain viral infections

Almost like people who don’t understand complex cancer biology maybe shouldn’t talk about it? 👀

I had to tear myself away from a Mark Cuban thread regarding drug expiration dating. I posted a bunch of replies but didn't completely open the fire hose. Relax, I'm not going to do that here, but I thought I'd summarize.

I found this well-written and insightful.
We are getting presented with a false binary: do we support violence or do we support nonviolence?

The choice here is more about a reality that people have only begun contending with. Revolution is coming. The question is whether we will be participants and if so how.

My latest.
What Kind of Revolution Do You Want?
It's not just about a CEO's murder. It's about the kind of change we want and how we get there. And why we're here in the first place. A message to both those condemning and those celebrating the act.

1. DST=Daylight Saving (not Savings) Time
2. It's Standard Time now.
3. DST is associated with increases in health issues, and not just around the transition date.
4. Solar time, with the sun at its highest point of the day at noon, would be healthiest.
5. Standard Time is closest to solar time.
