Just another disappointment from spineless Nebraskan federal representative. He should be ashamed to call himself a veteran-he put his life on the line to support America only to bend to a sleazy old man.
Tonight Rep. Don Bacon debased and humiliated himself by putting loyalty to one man above the security and interests of his country, voting to gut Medicaid to pay for more tax cuts for the rich.

Old friend just laid off by USDA, 1 mos short of his probationary period as senior researcher. Brilliant person who left a tenured faculty position several yrs ago to join USDA. Bright early-career researchers also being laid off. USDA is terminating a generation of highly-qualified scientists.

Letters went out to federal workers this morning stating they were fired due to poor performance. However, all employees had been rated as “exceptional” performers by their supervisors. Please keep these records and pursue wrongful termination claims. Let the lawsuits begin.
