Black History is American History.

I can only assume that everyone in the Trump administration and the voters supporting him must have watched every movie and heard every story and said to themselves “that villain seems cool”
How does one miss the point of the last 2000 years?

There's such a tone of sadness to the CBC reporting right now. Adrienne Arsenault says, “I feel like the whole country, all of us, are getting both a history lesson and a politics lesson and an economics lesson and a lesson in heartache.”

Reminder: They're trying to demoralize you, and they're doing a great job of it. Part of resisting is making time for joy despite the attempts to make you feel this is not the time for it. Love your people. Dig the art that speaks to you. Go to the places where life flows into you. You deserve joy.
