Listening to Blue Moon by Ayaka and I noticed Spotify had the lyrics.
And, after nearly 260 days of learning Japanese 3-5 minutes a day, I can read some of the lyrics.
I'm actually crying right now. Something so out of reach for so long just suddenly feels understood. It's a lot.

I was supposed to take a big trip this year but funds didn't pan out.
Still gave myself a 4 day weekend and I have 0 regrets. Sometimes you just need to not have work sitting on your shoulder for a couple extra days, y'know?

I gave The First Descendant a good 20 hours and I think I can safely say, as someone who enjoys many a thing, that this game is lacking in a few too many areas to get the most joy out of it. It's not a bad game, honestly. But I feel more enjoyment elsewhere.

When you start seeing that playing video games is going beyond just your standard stress relief and cope.
This week holds a slightly different stress, but I'll make it through. Not because I have to, but because I know I'm good enough to be fine.

I'm starting to feel this haze, almost fog of self suppression. And nothing feels good about it.

For some reason, the setting sun sometimes causes my door camera to think it saw someone. I'll get a notifications saying "person detected" and it's just a ball of fire, like it thinks Midra has come to visit.

I'm working through Visions of Mana and genuinely enjoying the experience. But I'm up to "let's fight these Benevedons" and I feel like I'm witnessing missing patches in the story that wanted to be there, masked with storytelling that hand waves some.
