You know what Bluesky, you’ve been nice so it’s about time I loaded up Mr Blobby in the Conjuring. Nightmare stuff.

My mum was born in 1950 so even SHE didn't really grow up with Snow White. Not sure why people are shocked that her Grandkids aren't bothered either

#Adolescence is the best new TV show in ages and up there with the best mini-series of all time.

Was slightly worried about #amandaland - particularly having Amanda herself as such an unlikeable main character. But I've seen 3 episodes now and Lucy Punch is so good in the role with a great supporting cast, I'm loving it!

This movie is crazy and more than a little disgusting (in a good way)

One of my favourite Directors of all time - everything he turned his hand to was surreal and unique.

A master of exploring the dark side of Americana and the evil that lurks underneath the white picket fences. The term Lynchian is one that has entered the global dialect

RIP to one of the greats

Watched Humanist Vampire Seeking Consenting Suicidal Person last night. Really funny and offbeat black comedy.

Like a cross between What We Do In The Shadows and Let The Right One In

Squid Game has really mastered the art of the cliffhanger to make you binge watch the whole thing

That bit of a haircut where you have to tell them what you want, I always essentially find myself saying ‘first, I’m really sorry things have got to this state.’

Revisited all 3 of Robert Zemeckis's motion capture movies. All have elements to respect and all suffer from uncanny valley syndrome

1) The Polar Express
2) A Christmas Carol
3) Beowulf

Finally saw Wicked over the weekend at a 09.40 screening (to minimise people on their phones etc).

Audience were very well behaved and the movie really won me over (or maybe ground me down). An absolute delight!

If you're allowed to clap and cheer at movies in the cinema now, does that mean we are also allowed to hiss and boo?

Because I wish I'd known that when I saw Borderlands and Argylle earlier in the year

You can make an argument that Stephen King wrote the two greatest prison movies of all time.

Shawshank and Green Mile are both easily in the conversation.

Stuck Back To The Future on last night, which was a mistake as I can never watch just the first and ended up staying up till 1AM binging all 3

First post on Blue Sky to say

Don't talk in cinemas
Put your phone away
Control your kids if you aren't in a kid specific screening

And go watch Anora - it's fucking fantastic
