If you are always making art for others- commissions, professional work, gifts, trades, even reactions/responses to questions- I cannot stress enough how much you need to take breaks and make things that are personal and that you want, for yourself.

I think 1 thing we need to acknowledge as an art community is not everyone wants the same thing & that's okay. Some people want huge numbers of interaction on their posts to feel like it's 'good' but for other people large numbers are legit scary & they want the more intimate levels of interaction.
