I illustrated this excellent piece by Katie Goh for @natlibscot.bsky.social about libraries in pop culture. Was extremely fun to get to draw the Scooby Gang! Can someone hire me to draw a Willow comic please?

You can read the article here: www.nls.uk/collections/...

MSF staff are universally understood to be engaged in an essentially sacred form of work. For a state to nonetheless continuously murder them is a testament to a truly unthinkable degree of depravity.

msf.org/msf-denounce...
This morning, an attack carried out by Israeli forces killed Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) staff member, Omar Hayek, and seriously injured four others. The attack took place on a street where our teams were waiting to take a bus to the MSF field hospital in Deir al Balah, Gaza.

All staff were wearing MSF vests, clearly identifying them as medical humanitarian workers.
We express deep sorrow and outrage over the killing, which occurs less than two weeks after another MSF colleague, Hussein Alnajjar, was killed by the Israeli forces, in Deir Al Balah.

Our thoughts are with Omar’s family and colleagues at this tragic time. Omar, 42 years old, is the fourteenth MSF colleague to be killed in Gaza since 7 October 2023.

We're in a cost of living crisis and Labour wants to bring in digital ID cards for everyone.

They're risking turning the UK into a pre-crime state where we constantly have to prove who we are just to go about our daily lives.

One thing I'll say about DC not only canceling Red Hood, but recalling the first issue and refunding stores for buying it, is that you can still get Neil Gaiman's work through them. I can't find it online but the montage of Robert Redford in The Old Man and the Gun set to Blues Run the Game has stuck with me so much - I'm glad Redford went out with that film, which you should seek out if you haven't. An astounding swansong for an American icon.

Trump says domestic violence is not a crime.

Why did we expect Starmer might have something to say? He still invited him on a state visit knowing he's a rapist, too.
ukstoptrump.bsky.social
Foreigners from a backwards, woman-hating culture are influencing our politics & spreading dangerous, degrading messages about domestic violence.

But Keir Starmer has invited their leader to a banquet with the king.
