look I've been on the very bottom rung as a local council candidate (I didn't even win)
but the number of politicians I met who were nothing more than a tiny suburban city councilperson whose *entire identity* revolved around retaining that seat was astonishing

it's almost as if a well-rounded exercise routine does the best! just turn the nobs a bit slightly based on goals.
and yeah I didn't do cardio for a decade. was stupid. unless you're some sort of elite athlete just do some of everything and you'll be in great shape

Fitness gurus are always knocking cardio. Well, the elliptical is super effectively for weight loss. It’s low impact so you can do it for long time periods, every day. I can burn 800-1000 calories in an hour. I can do it daily. I lost 100 lbs once doing nothing but that damned boring elliptical.
